Tree Commission

The Tree Commission is responsible for reviewing and planning plantings on City property.  It is responsible for writing and implementing an annual community forestry plan and program and promotes the goals of Tree City USA. 
 
Membership of the Commission consists of five voting members who are appointed by the five council members and two voting members appointed by the mayor. The mayor, one city councilmember, the code enforcement official, the public works director and a certified arborist, as resources permit, shall be ex-officio members of the tree commission.
