Streets

The Public Works Department maintains streets and roads within the City.  Responsibilities include:
  • Perform maintenance on asphalt and concrete streets as well as sidewalks.
  • Work in conjunction with drainage during rain events.
  • Assists Gretna Police Department with various events.
  • Assists public with paving apron permit form.
  • Provide residential parking perimeter.
  • Maintains parking meters and downtown parking areas.
