Economic Development

The Office of the Mayor coordinates efforts in the Economic Development of the City of Gretna.  Working with private enterprise, the City has had a successful history of promoting locations and siting businesses within our municipal limits.
 
Looking for assistance with business loans or needing help in establishing a business plan?  Gretna works with JEDCO, the Jefferson Parish Economic Development Commission, to help businesses in the art of business.  For local licenses and permits, please contact our Chief Licensing Officer and Tax Collector, Dianne Lee.
