The City of Gretna Recreation Department is seeking candidates for the following positions:
The successful candidate must be customer service minded to ensure that the renter has a positive experience. This position works on a part time, as needed basis. The applicant must be available for duty on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sunday at varying times. The event representative must arrive prior to the start of the event and be on site for the duration of the event to ensure that the renter’s needs are met.
Duties include but are not limited to: resolving any problems that might arise during the event, clean up after the event concludes including emptying of trash cans, mopping floors and picking up all tables and chairs.
Physical demands include lifting up to 20 pounds occasionally and 10 pounds frequently. A considerable amount of walking and/or standing is also required.
This individual will work Friday evenings, Saturday & Sunday. The position works approximately 22 hours per weekend. The applicant must also be flexible in working additional hours as required. All applicants must have a valid driver’s license and able to pass a criminal background check.
Duties include but are not limited to: overseeing park activities at two parks, ensuring that park rules and regulations are followed by park visitors, ensuring that park restrooms are kept clean, picking up loose trash as needed and emptying trash cans as needed.
