City of Gretna Employees Dress Down for Seniors in Jefferson Parish
On November 20th, City of Gretna employees contributed to the Jefferson Council on Aging's Senior Meals Program by dressing down for the work day. All proceeds from the employees who participated in the event were donated to pay for meals for Jefferson Parish Seniors.
The City of Gretna City Council passed a resolution declaring November 20th as "Senior Day in Gretna" in a show of support for the program and the need for contributions to maintain meals for our senior community. All proceeds will go directly to the meal program and not for administrative costs!
