5th Street Closure and Detours- Starting 6 AM Jan.19, 2026 and Ending 6 PM Apr 10, 2026

Westbound  LA 466 (5^th St.), in Gretna from LA 428 (Franklin St.) to  Richard St. will be closed  to vehicular traffic beginning 6:00 AM Monday January 19, 2026  ending 6:00 PM Friday April 10, 2026 for waterline installation 

Vehicles can detour the area via the following routes:

– LA 18 (4^th St.)

 – LA 428 (Franklin St.)

– US90Z (Frontage Rd.)

– LA 18 (Lafayette St.)
