As per the Stay at Home Order, which the entire state of Louisiana is now under, the City of Gretna has closed all public recreational areas such as playgrounds and dog parks. These closures and the Stay at Home Order are for the protection and safety of our community. Garbage service will continue operating as normal. Recycling and bulk waste pickup has been temporarily suspended until further notice.

Use this form to register for evacuation assistance for the 2019 hurricane season.

    NOTE REGARDING TROPICAL STORM BARRY: No evacuation is being ordered for this event in the City of Gretna. If you have a medical emergency please call 911 for assistance.

    In order to assist you with transportation needs in the event of an evacuation order, please fill out the following form as completely as possible.

    Please note that this registry is for citizens of incorporated Gretna, which consists of addresses in the zip code 70053 and the Timberlane subdivision of 70056. If you are in unincorporated Gretna, please register with Jefferson Parish.
