City of Gretna offices closed on
Good Friday – April 3, 2026

All City of Gretna offices and buildings will be closed on Friday, April 3, 2026, in observance of Good Friday, and will reopen on Monday, April 6, at their regularly scheduled times. All City services will be suspended on 4/3 except for water emergencies, which may be reported to (504) 363-1540.

Garbage service will take place as normally scheduled.

While all Gretna parks will remain open on Friday, April 3, the Mel Ott Multipurpose Center will be closed, and all organized recreation will resume on Monday, April 6.
