All City of Gretna offices and buildings will be closed on Monday, September 1, 2025, in observance of Labor Day, and will reopen on Tuesday, September 2 at their regularly scheduled times. All City services will be suspended on 9/1 except for water emergencies, which may be reported to (504) 363-1540. There will be no garbage service on Monday, September 1 and Monday/ Thursday service will resume on Thursday, September 4th.

Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference: Gretna Resilience District City Park Improvements

A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, December 2nd at Gretna City Hall Council Chambers, 740 2nd Street, Gretna, LA 70053. Personal protective equipment (PPE) and social distancing guidelines will be strictly enforced.
