Public Hearing
Adoption at the August 11, 2021, Council Regular Meeting
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Gretna City Council will meet
in regular session to conduct a public hearing on Wednesday, August 11,
2021, at 5:30 PM, at Gretna City Hall, 740 Second Street, Council Chambers,
(second floor), Gretna, Louisiana 70053, for consideration and adoption of the
following ordinances:
A. An ordinance prohibiting the placement of food product of any kind on
public property; and imposing a penalty for violation of this provision.
B. An ordinance prohibiting the operation of bicycles, skateboards, scooters, and other
similar means of conveyance on city sidewalks and any area outside of designated
bicycle pathways, specifically prohibiting the operation of the same in Gretna
Plaza; and imposing a penalty for violation of this provision.
C. An ordinance amending Chapter 58 –Unified Development Code Official Map,
adopted by the Gretna Council on June 12, 2019; amending the zoning
classification of Lots 1A, 2A, 3A, 4A, 5A, 9A, 10A, 11, 12, 13, 14A, 15A and
16A, Square 12, Village of Brooklyn Subdivision; from (M-1) Light Industrial
District to (R-1) Single-Family Residential District; to authorize and direct the
Zoning and City Planning Director, to alter and amend the Official Zoning Map
of the City of Gretna, Louisiana.
