Adoption at the December 8, 2021 , Council Regular Meeting

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Gretna City Council will meet in regular session to conduct a public hearing on Wednesday, December 8,
2021, at 5:30 PM, at Gretna City Hall, 740 Second Street, Council Chambers, (second floor), Gretna, Louisiana 70053, for consideration and adoption of the below ordinance:

An ordinance setting the City of Gretna’s Legislative Calendar for the Year 2022; in accordance with Gretna Code of Ordinances, Chapter 2, Division 2. –Meetings, Section 2-54. –Legislative Calendar.

An ordinance revoking the public dedication of the air space above the sidewalk that abuts the adjacent property, also known as 201 Huey P. Long Avenue, Suite A, and further described as Lot 5A, Square 7, Mechanickham Subdivision. The purpose of the assignment of rights is to al-low owners of the property to complete renovations and additions to the building, which proposes awnings over the sidewalk that encroach 36-inches into the City’s air space.
