Operation Save A Life Provides Free Smoke Detectors
The David Crockett Steam Fire Company No 1, in conjunction with the Louisiana State Fire Marshall’s Office, is taking part in Operation Save A Life.
Operation Save A Life was created to combat the rise in fire related injuries and deaths due to home fires in our great state. The goal is to have a working smoke detector in every residence in our state.
If you live in the City of Gretna, zip code 70053, and need a free smoke detector installed, contact Charlene Klumpp at the Gretna Fire Board office at 504.363.1494 and arrangements will be made.
