Soccer Information
The 2022 Soccer program is open to all children 4-15 years old. All age groups are co-ed. The intramural age groups will tentatively be: 4-5 year olds, 6-7 year olds, 8-10 year olds, 11-13 year old and 14-15 year olds. (The breakdown of age groups are COMPLETELY based off of how many children register. Please understand that these breakdowns may have to be adjusted slightly.)
Intramural games will be held at McDonoghville Park (600 Weidman St.) starting no earlier than 6pm nightly. Some games may be held on Saturday. Practices will start approximately January 24, with games starting the early to mid-February. These are estimated start times. You will be contacted via email and text message when practices start. Please ensure your contact information is up to date in LeagueApps.
Registration is open to residents of the City of Gretna at no charge. Residents of Jefferson Parish, Orleans must have an approved waiver through the Jefferson Parish Recreation Department to participate. Once you register your child or children, we will forward you to the waiver to complete. There is a $150 yearly fee per family for non-residents.

Track Information
The 2022 Track program is open to all children 5-17. Track meets are held on Saturdays for approximately 6 weeks. Practices will start at the end of January. Practices may be held at King’s Grant’s track. Participants may enter one track event, one field event and a relay (5 year old’s are not eligible for relays). The events and distances vary between age groups. A full explanation of what each age is eligible for can be found in our office.
Registration is open to residents of the City of Gretna at no charge. Residents of Jefferson Parish, Orleans, and Plaquemines must have an approved waiver through the Jefferson Parish Recreation Department to participate. Once you register your child or children, we will forward you to the waiver to complete. There is a “sit out” period for waiver participants that must be satisfied before participants are eligible for track. Additionally, there is a $150 yearly fee per family for non-residents.
