March 26th – The Gretna Italian Irish Parade

1 PM – 6 PM

Ends at Huey P. Long and 4th

Please join us in celebrating Italian and Irish heritage! The parade will begin at Burmaster and Franklin Streets and end at Huey P. Long Avenue and 4th Street.

After-party from 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. at the Farmer’s Market, featuring Bag of Donuts.

April 1 – Seersucker Soiree

3 PM – 9 PM

Huey P. Long from 5th Street to the River

Break out your springtime, seersucker or Easter-wear. Come enjoy pop art, street entertainment, acoustic music with a variety of local artists, musicians and vendors partnered with local businesses. The party culminates with the Brass-A-Holics playing for 7 p.m. in Memorial Square.

$10 wristbands available for restaurant/bar specials. Wristbands in front of the Gretna Cultural Center and City Hall.

Roule’ Rolled Ice Cream: $1 soft serve ice cream.
El Gato Negro: $5 pineapple cilantro margarita
Gretna Tavern: $5 Screwdriver and $5 Bloody Mary
Gretna Depot : $5 for two hotdogs, $5 cherry blossom cocktail, $5 mint Julep
